What I’m creating

Hey everyone,

So originally I was going to write a different blog post today.

First, I had found an article on a patient-centered website that I thought did a really great job of explaining SI joint dysfunction.

The author explained how important it is to be aware of SI joint alignment— that is to say, if your joints are misaligned, generic exercises and strengthening alone won’t correct it.

I even shared that article from my Facebook page earlier today, if you happened to see it.

Initially, I was so excited to see this knowledge up on a mainstream site that I was even going to write a blog post sending out the link.

But before I went to post it, I decided to check some of the other links and recommendations from the site. And I was disappointed to see that, in spite of the insightful first article, the follow-up articles were back to the same old tired advice.

  • Recommending stretches that put you on positions that put way too much stress on the joint. (Stretching can be important, but you have to do it strategically!).
  • Providing illustrations of “self-corrections” for you to do on your own at home— without first getting a clear assessment of which pattern of misalignment you have. (Bad, bad idea!).

Which brings me to what I have to say today.

You guys, I’ve been getting so many requests for more information about my personal recommendations, especially my stretching and exercise routine.

I’m so sorry it’s taking me so long to get it up!

The difference between what I’m trying to do, and some of these other sites, is that I’m really trying to give you the core information you need to move forward.

I don’t want to be just one of the sites you stumble upon, along the way, where you end up trying a few suggestions and then moving on to the next thing.

I want my site to be the real deal.

I don’t want to post something just to get it up as soon as possible.

I want this to be the website where you can come and find a home base, so to speak.

A safety net of information, where you know you can trust what you read, because not only is it backed up by scientific information, but you’re also getting it from a person who’s lived it.

So… it’s coming, you guys.

I am so excited for everything I’ve been working on.

There is going to be more information about stretching, strengthening, and why some of the most common recommendations don’t work.

Absolutely stay tuned!

I’m just going to repeat this…. I’m just blessed to have found you at all. You re my main person for SIJ Issues!

I am doing well. I am now riding my bike ( sitting upright and sitting on wide seat) and going for 12 miles on it. Regaining leg muscles! Something I need to have now that I am retired! Thank god!

    Again.. thank you !
