***The Single Best Resource I’ve Seen So Far: NATA/Dr. Kelly McGinnis Presentation***

I found the slides from this presentation given at the Eastern  Athletic Trainer’s Association.  Putting two and two together based on the speaker bios, I believe the presentation was given by Dr. Kelly McGinnis, DO, a sports medicine physiatrist at Mass General.   (Gosh, if only I’d been lucky enough to end up with her as my doctor!).

This presentation is hands down one of the best resource I’ve found, encompassing most of the ideas and and treatment protocols I’ve come across in my research.  Unfortunately the slides don’t go into too much detail themselves, but I can generally fill in the blanks based on what I’ve learned elsewhere.

Ultimately, I guess I really liked this slideshow because it was so validating.  For me, when I’ve collected a lot of my information from PT’s and chiropractors, it’s really cool to see the things I believe to be true actually backed up by a staff physician at MGH.

If you have any questions on this slidehow and the medical terms in it, please don’t hesitate to write it in the comments, or email me at sunlightinwinter12@hotmail.com.  I’m totally happy to help!
